scotty + ciara

In May of last year, I was hiding behind baseball stadium seats waiting for Scotty to drop to his knee and propose to Ciara... just five months later I photographed their engagement session. So, I had been waiting for the day that they stood in front of their loved ones, said their vows to each other, and exchanged rings!

Before we moved to Jasper, my husband worked for Leroy, Ciara's dad, at Summers in Greenfield, IN. My husband, Greg, was close with Leroy and many of his colleagues at Summers (fun fact: Kent, one of the Summers guys, married us in 2016!) I photographed Britni's wedding (Leroy's other daughter) last year... and when Ciara asked me to be a part of her and Scott's big day also, I could have never turned her down!

Congratulations again to Scott and Ciara Judy and their families! They planned a really beautiful day and it didn't hurt that there happened to be a full moon that same evening (we will take it as a sign of a marriage "full" of love and happiness)! I'm lucky to be their friend and honored to have been involved in such an important part of their lives.
